IBM Releases Results Of Global CMO Study
IBM has just released its first study of CMOs — and the fifteenth in an ongoing series of C-suite Studies — entitled From Stretched To Strengthened: Insights from the Global Chief Marketing Officer Study.
The research was conducted by the IBM Institute for Business Value and consisted of face-to-face interviews with 1,734 CMOs representing 19 industry verticals and 64 countries. Interviews were conducted between February and June, 2011.
The report highlights current CMO strategic objectives and priorities, issues and challenges, and perceived opportunities and is a worthwhile read for any senior marketing executive or for consultants working with these professionals.
